Who we are...

Leber/Rubes Inc. started in a basement office on Merton Street in midtown Toronto. That was 25 years ago. Today we've grown to become Canada's preeminent Professional Engineering firm that specializes in fire protection engineering and building code consulting.

Established in 1986 the firm has offices in Toronto, Ottawa and Owen Sound. We have a full time staff of 50 and we're constantly growing.

We employ only the best and the brightest. We have experts with backgrounds in fire protection and building code consulting, municipal plans examination and inspection, construction and development, research and development and fire protection systems design, manufacturing and testing.

The size and complexity of projects range from small residential buildings to entire universities and airports.

We stay on the cutting edge of code development, with many of our staff actively involved in Codes and Standards committees.

We work with our clients to achieve the level of safety mandated by the Building and Fire Codes without sacrificing their vision, their design or their budget.
